From retirement to championship
Ray Parent finishes the last race of the year at Thompson Speedway and is crowned track champion. With a full year of racing behind us we were able to take home the late model championship in our first full year of competition. Ray Parent was headed for retirement at the end of the 2016 when he receives the phone call most drivers dream of when he was offered a full time ride for 2017 with a brand new team, in a brand new car, and brand new team owner. What a way to finish of this season with a story book ending.

Ray Parent takes down the checkered flag at Seekonk Speedway for his 4th consecutive DAV fall classic win behind the wheel of the Make A Wish Ford Mustang.
WATERFORD SPEEDBOWL 2017 KICKOFF
June 24, 2017 – DPR was on hand for the opening of the New London Waterford Speedbowl on June 24th. We had a solid 4th place finish and learned a lot with the new hoosier tires. We look to come back later in the season and hopefully take down a win. The track is fun and the 2 wide action is great for the fans.
SUNOCO PERFORMER OF THE WEEK
June 21, 2017 – Ray Parent has been named New England Racing Fuel by SUNOCO. This prestigious award is voted on by the fans for the performer of the week. We are honored to win this award and have so many fans voting for us, we have been having a really great seasons and can’t thank everyone enough.
DAYS OF THUNDER PAINT SCHEME REVEALED
June 14, 2017 – DPR rolls out a brand new paint scheme and sponsor at Thompson Speedway on Wednesday night for the Thompson 125. The iconic green and yellow paint scheme resembling Cole Trickles car in the famous movie days of thunder. In addition to the new colors they also had a new sponsor CourseLegend.com , the car was a huge hit with the fans, and drivers. The racing was even more exciting when Ray Parent makes a last lap pass in turn 4 to take over the lead and take down his second win of the season.
BOSTON LOUIE SEYMOUR MEMORIAL RACE
May 24th – DPR and Bertrand Motorsports team up to put Ray Parent behind the wheel of the #45 NEMA Midget for the Boston Louie Seymour Memorial race at Seekonk Speedway. Bertrand Motorsports is the winningest team in NEMA competition and this was a great opportunity to team up with a great team and a great car. We look forward to the race on June 28th.
RETURN TO THOMPSON
May 21, 2017 -The Anytime Realty Ford Mustang returned to Thompson Speedway after the ice breaker win back in April. Coming back we had one goal and its to take home a championship, we ended up starting 10th and working our way to 3rd before the checkers flew. We had a 1 point lead going into this race and knew we just had to get up inside the top 5 and bring the car home in one piece. We look forward to coming back in June.
April 9, 2017 – It was a beautiful day for racing at the season opener at Thompson Speedway Motorsports Park. Ray Parent drives the #98 Anytime Realty Ford from 10th to win the famed Ice Breaker. “It was probably the most exciting race I’ve ever seen, with a last lap pass from 4th to 1st it made for an exciting finish” says team owner Don Parsons

April 2, 2017 – Thompson Speedway holds a private practice session. Ray Parent fastest all day in brand new ACT tour late model sponsored by Anytime Realty.
New Distance ACT Late Model
November 1, 2016 – DPR adds a brand new Distance ACT Late Model to the team for 2017 competition. Plans are in place to run for a championship at the famed Thompson Speedway Motorsports Park.
